In an organized and a systemic manner, the demand
for states to be allowed for procurement of vaccination was put forth.

The two-time chief minister of one of the most
controversial state of India writes a letter and says that “we have decided as
govt. Of west Bengal that we will procure adequate number of vaccines for
public. Please do something that state government may purchase vaccines
themselves”.
18th march, 2021
The three-time Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal
said in a press conference that I want to appeal to central govt. To
decentralize the system and allow state to administer the vaccine on a war
footing.
8th April, 2021
And the BJP star campaigner Mr. Rahul Gandhi, whose
only credibility lies in getting party defeated wrote a letter and said states
have been bypassed. And said give state govt a bigger say in procurement of
vaccine.
17th April, 2021
The chief minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik also
wrote that vaccine should be available outside the govt supply chain. And also
said adequate quantity of vaccine should be made available for states to
procure.
18th April, 2021
The Chief Minister of Bengal was so sure of her
demand that she even wrote reminder letter several times. As much I know she
again wrote a letter on 18th April, 2021 that this is to remind that
I have written on 24th Feb, 2021 that allow state to purchase
vaccination with state funds and launch a massive drive covering all
population.
Deputy leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Mr.
Anand Sharma also said that the state govt. Must be allowed to enter in
contract for procurement of vaccines. Health is a state issue, centre cannot
interfere as it is against constitution.
QUESTION?
What would you have done if you would have been the
Prime Minister of India?
Would you have rejected the request then on what
basis you can? After all India is a federal country.
Whom could have doubted the multiple times elected
chief ministers after all they got peoples mandate?
so, on 19th April, a liberalised policy
was announced. We all know in 1st stage health care worker and front-line
worker were given preference. Then in 2nd stage above 60 years and
above 45 years with comorbid were allowed.
The third schedule was to be implemented from May 1st,
2021
Vaccination started to be available for all above
18 years and centre was scheduled to procure 50 percent of vaccines and give to
states for all above 45 years of age free of cost, remaining 50 % were divided
into 25% each for state govt and Pvt. Hospitals to give to anyone above 18
years of age. The policy was to be decided by the state govt.
Isn’t this what all Chief Minister and opposition
leaders demanded?
POLITICS STEP IN
Then came the bigger picture. Everyone did a u
turn. The chief ministers, media, congress party everyone took a u turn. They
were just demanding vaccines and playing dirty politics. They didn’t have any
sort of logistics arranged, no plan to distribute either.
26th April, 2021
Mr. Kejriwal had earlier announced that he has plan
to vaccinate entire Delhi in just 3 months. Delhi govt wrote a letter to
vaccine manufacturers their terms of supply. Then on public pressure they again
wrote a letter of intent indicating desire to purchase. Even after 18 days
their plan was still at letter of intent.
7th May, 2021
Uddhav Thackeray , Chief Minister of Maharashtra wrote that state be allowed to procure in a single
shot to cover population. It was only after 18 days of new policy was
announced.
12th May, 2021
A letter was written to the prime minister of India
by 12 most senior leaders of opposition that “procure vaccines centrally” this
letter was signed by Sonia Gandhi, Sharad Panwar, Mamta Banerjee, Uddhav thackeray
In Feb, Mamta Banerjee was the first among the
leaders to demand that states should be given free hand and now she did u turn
and said that centre should give to states. Rahul Gandhi, Uddhav thackeray all
signed it.
THE CONFUSION
How can one trust this kind of opposition that
demands one thing one day and when that is met demands just opposite the other day?
Did they contributed in overcoming this pandemic?
Did they work for people of country or for their
party?
They put themselves before nation. This dirty
politics is played by them. Everyone know how much prices were taken by people
in name of bed and oxygen. And to worse of It, in Delhi Even Ayushman scheme of
central govt was not implemented making people suffer. This a Big Crime.
The larger cry was started that vaccines are not
available, we are short of it.
Meanwhile in Rajasthan a million doses were found
in dustbin. In Punjab govt started selling vaccines for profit.
I sometimes laugh and fall of my bed when I see
these kind of politicians, Mr. Akhilesh Yadav, Ex Chief Minister of India’s largest
state said these are BJP vaccines and he won’t take them. I wonder how they run
state!
Shashi Tharoor said that Covaxin approval is
premature, Manish Tiwari said BJP is making Indian people guinea pigs.
And in the history of India a new low of politics
was seen when congress rules Chhattisgarh , a public elected government’s
health minister and others started a campaign against vaccine thus creating a
confusion between citizens.
MASTER STROKE
Chief ministers of Punjab (may 15), Kerala (may
24), Sikkim (may 30), Mizoram (may 31), Meghalaya (may 31), Andhra Pradesh
(june 1), Arunachala Pradesh (june 1), Odisha (june 2), Tripura (june 2) and Maharashtra
(june 2) specifically wrote to the prime minister requesting centralised
procurement of vaccines.
Now was the ball in prime minister court he could
have played dirty politics like them. After all they have just played for
party, not for nation. They were not with people of India. They were not believing
on the mantra of we the people, they were asking who the people.
But this is what makes our Beloved Prime Minster a
global and a great leader, he choose not to play dirty politics, on June 7th,
2021 a new policy was announced that entire lot will be procured by centre. And
even capping was done for pvt hospitals.
As close as 200 crore doses are lined up to be
given till end of this year. With this number of vaccines available and an
intent to work for people we can be rest assured that our Prime Minister won’t
play dirty politics. We can have a peace of mind till he is working there for
us. The nation salutes such a person who thinks for India, works for India.
This may be thanked to his roots , the teaching of RSS and the party moto,
nation first.
